WAYV is under the Chinese agency Label V, who collaborates with SM Entertainment.
Awaken the World was WayV's first studio album.
Swedish composer team Moonshine, who participated in composing the group's previous lead single "天选之城 (Moonwalk)", is also involved in this track.
According to Wikipedia, due to issues regarding their outfits, the release of the physical album was delayed to June 18.
Members HENDERY and YANGYANG also participated in the creation of lyrics.
