"Stage 0" was released on 21 November and was followed by two behind the scenes on the 21st and 22nd. The official order for all the stages is - 0, 3, 1, 2, 4.

NCT 2021 is the third large-scale project by the South Korea based group NCT. Described by SM Entertainment as a grand-scale project, the main highlight is the studio album Universe.
It was the first time that an NCT yearly full-scale project features incomplete members, as WayV members WinWin and Lucas did not participate due to other promotions and hiatus, respectively. NCT 2018 introduced Kun, Jungwoo, and Lucas, while NCT 2020 introduced Sungchan and Shotaro (and by extension Xiaojun, Hendery, and YangYang).
